It’s a funny thing that a few years ago people were saying that no one would ever again invest significant VC money in the semiconductor industry.
It cost $100 million to spin a chip, it took ten years to IPO and exit multiples weren’t that great, conplained VCs.
But now look at this – the top 100 AI start-ups, as chosen by CB Insights, have raised a staggering collective $11.7 billion.
